Class A & B – Refresher

Program Overview

Refresher -

This is a 40-clock hour training program designed to exceed the standard certification for entry-level truck drivers. Students will learn about Tractor-Trailer vehicle systems, the Department of Transportation (DOT) rules and regulations, logs, and legal topics pertaining to safe operations. Additional topics include cargo handling, hazardous materials, and the vehicle pre-trip inspection and students will receive a defensive driving course. Motor Vehicle Registration and drug screening for the refresher program are required prior to registration. All participants are expected to follow safety and social distancing protocols.

Requirements​

• At least 18 years old for Interstate

• Pass a DOT Physical

• Pass a DOT Drug Test 

• Have a good Driving Record
